David Leahy

Biography

David is a Resident Partner with ARDENT with over 25 years professional experience in providing a range of advisory services to clients in Canada, Africa, and the UK.  David also spent seven years working in the Risk and Control function of two international energy companies in Qatar and Canada. Prior to joining ARDENT, he was the Head of Consulting services for a Big 4 firm in East Africa.  

David has led advisory services in relation to board advisory, corporate governance, enterprise risk management, internal audit, internal controls and compliance, fraud risk management and assessment, and forensic investigations.  He has worked for clients in various industries including, financial services, energy and natural resources, healthcare, consumer and retail, manufacturing, and telecommunications. David is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Canada, and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
