Profile 

Salman Ashraf is a pragmatic and influential Certified Fraud Examiner, and an ACCA affiliate with experience in Banking, Risk Management, Audit and Assurance.  

Former to joining Ardent, he was associated with Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank and KPMG through which he gained valuable skills and knowledge in the field of Risk Management and Audit.

Credit Risk Management–Retail Banking (ADIB), Audit Associate (KPMG) 

• During his tenure, Salman has been recognized for accelerating development, fostering partnerships with critical participants, articulating concise financial and credit proposals. 

• Salman has executed his technical expertise in strategic and financial analysis, risk analysis, risk management, retail credit checks, inventory and asset management, financial controls, internal audit, financial systems and Consumer Industrial Market (CIM). 

• He supported the business in capturing customers within the acceptable parameters without violating Central Bank regulations. A timely review of loan requests through the credit decision engine system and established credit decisions under loan program guidelines. 

• At Ardent Advisory, Salman has been tasked with the Risk Associate-3 role wherein he works with the team to deliver the client expectations by providing high quality research in a timely and accurate manner – having previous expertise in analyzing data and information and developing Excel-based models to support project requirements.
