Sharad Bhandari

Managing Partner

Sharad is the Managing Partner of ARDENT with four decades of professional experience including 28 years with a Big 4 firm in the UAE & the UK. He was the Head of Transactions and Restructuring practice and the Head of Markets of the Big 4 firm for the UAE and Oman.

Sharad has led and managed several audit and advisory engagements in the GCC and the UK, both for private and public sector organizations. Sharad served as the Lead Partner on several large clients of ARDENT and the Big 4 firm and has led several landmark M&A and Restructuring transactions in the UAE. Some of his clients include ADNOC, Mubadala, IHC, YAS Holdings, Central Bank of the UAE, Emirates NBD, Commercial Bank of Dubai, Dhabi Group, Al Jaber Group, Lulu Group, Dubai Parks & Resorts, Meraas, Le Meridien Group, Al Fahim Group, Aldar, Ministry of Finance, Al Nasser Holdings and Zones Corp.

Sharad is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Sashikanth Ramakrishnan

Partner, Head of Advisory

Sashikanth is a founding partner and Head of Advisory at ARDENT with over three decades of professional experience in providing a range of advisory services to a broad range of GCC businesses. Formerly, he was the Head of Financial Services and Head of Transactions &
Restructuring for a Big 4 firm in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East and South Asia Region. He served with the same firm in the UAE, the KSA, the UK and India for over two decades.

Sashikanth has significant experience of advising corporates and government entities in the GCC. He has led advisory services in relation to several very large M&A transactions in the Telecom, Utilities, Retail, and Manufacturing sectors, many of which were cross border transactions. Sashikanth has also led debt restructuring services to large and mid-sized corporates. In Saudi Arabia, he led several banking and insurance sector supervision engagements supporting the respective regulators.

Sashikanth is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Nirbhay Vaidya

Partner, Head of Risk Advisory

Nirbhay is a founding partner and Head of Risk Advisory with over 20 years of professional experience. Nirbhay has worked for three of the Big 4 firms in London, Dubai and Mumbai and has advised a broad client base including large national and multinational companies listed on ADX, DFM, FTSE and NYSE exchanges. Formerly, Nirbhay was heading the Consumer & Industrial Market practice of a Big 4 firm and was subsequently part of the executive leadership team at one of the largest private real estate developers in the world.

Nirbhay has advised clients on numerous Risk Advisory and Transaction Advisory engagements. Nirbhay also leads the firm’s IFRS advisory practice and has lead IFRS conversion engagements in the UK, the UAE and KSA. He also heads ARDENT’s In-Country Value (ICV) and Electricity Tariff Incentive Program (ETIP) services.

Nirbhay is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Sharukh Dumasia

Partner, Head of Transaction Advisory

Sharukh Dumasia is a Partner and Head of Transaction Advisory at ARDENT and has over 30 years of professional experience. Prior to joining ARDENT, he led significant businesses in transaction advisory, management consulting and audit. Sharukh has worked with a Big 4 firm in the UK and the UAE, advising clients at board level on financial treatments, investment decisions, and transformational change, often in challenging business and economic situations.

In the UAE, Sharukh has advised on landmark deals, including the largest bank merger, a very significant post-merger integration, one of the largest recent restructurings, audit of the largest listed entity and several multi-million dollar buy/sell transactions.

Sharukh is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

Nikhil Sancheti


Nikhil has 16 years of corporate finance and private equity experience specializing in advisory assignments including buy-side and sell-side M&A advisory, business valuations, due diligence, restructuring, and business plans. Prior to joining ARDENT, he worked as a Senior Director with a regional private equity firm and prior to that as an Associate Director with a Big 4 accounting firm in the UAE.

Nikhil has worked with a number of family offices, private equity firms, corporates, etc. covering a diverse range of sectors including food & beverage, industrial, education, logistics, healthcare, retail, specialty retail, contracting, real estate, and manufacturing. He has led a number of large M & A transactions in logistics, specialty retail, and healthcare sectors.

Nikhil is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, a Certified Chartered Financial Analyst, and has obtained a Masters in Business Administration from ICFAI Business School.

Vishwesh Telang


Vishwesh is a Director in ARDENT’s Transaction Advisory Practice. He has over 20 years of experience in providing a wide range of M & A and capital market related advisory services to a broad range of businesses in the GCC and the greater MENA region, Singapore, and India. Prior to joining ARDENT, Vishwesh was the Head of Transaction Services for a Big 4 firm in Bahrain where he worked on buy-and sell-side advisory engagements for numerous strategic and financial buyers in public and private deals. He has led and managed a large number of advisory engagements advising private and government sectors on privatizations, M & A, IPO, private placements, debt advisory, valuations, due diligence, and restructuring.

Vishwesh has been the team lead on advisory services to clients in banking and financial services (both conventional and Islamic), contracting, manufacturing, real estate, retail, and telecommunication services.

Vishwesh has a Masters in Business Administration from the Asian Institute of Management, Makati.

Ritesh Mehta

Associate Director

Ritesh is an Associate Director in ARDENT with over 13 years of experience in Transaction Services. Prior to ARDENT, he was part of the corporate finance team of an international advisory firm and part of the assurance service in a Big 4 accounting firm.

Ritesh has provided transaction support services to clients across a diverse range of sectors, including Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals, Real Estate, Hospitality, Retail, Education, Logistics, and Manufacturing. Ritesh has led various due diligence and valuation assignments in relation to the sell side, buy side, fundraising, and refinancing transactions. He has also provided post-deal support on several large listed company transactions in purchase price allocation and impairment analysis.

Ritesh is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is a Qualified Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and has completed a Masters in Financial Management from Mumbai University.

Chetan Soni

Associate Director, Risk Advisory

Chetan is an Associate Director with the Risk Advisory practice at ARDENT with over 14 years of professional experience. Prior to joining ARDENT, he worked for one of the Big 4 firms in India for over seven years in their Risk Advisory and Assurance practice and prior to that in the central finance team of a leading publicly listed Power and Energy Company.

Chetan specializes in providing Risk Advisory services covering Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, Fraud & Forensic advisory, Policies & Procedures, Corporate Governance, and IFRS advisory. He manages the firm’s In-Country Value (ICV) and the Electricity Tariff Incentive Program (ETIP) services. Chetan’s clients cover a diverse range of sectors including Automotive, Manufacturing, Government, Retail, Travel, Pharmaceutical, Telecom, Construction, and Real Estate, Healthcare, Food & Beverage and Education.

Shinto Johny

Associate Director

Shinto Johny is an Associate Director with the Management Consulting practice at ARDENT with over 20 years of consulting experience. Prior to ARDENT, Shinto worked in India, the UK, and the UAE and was with one of the Big 4 consulting firms.

Shinto has two decades of experience encompassing policies and processes documentation, business process improvement, benchmarking studies, strategy and business plan development. His sector experience includes financial services, energy, manufacturing, media, and IT.

Shinto is an MBA from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chausees, Paris.

Rizwan Khan


Rizwan is a Manager in ARDENT’s Transaction Advisory Practice and has over 14 years of experience in transaction advisory, consulting, research and portfolio management. Prior to joining ARDENT, Rizwan was part of the consulting team with a leading Japanese financial services conglomerate in India, where he worked on consulting and buy/sell-side advisory engagements for local and international clients in Japan, GCC, and other frontier markets.

Rizwan has managed number of engagements across diverse sectors such as banking and financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, education, food and beverages, commodities and contracting in the UAE, India, and Bahrain. He is experienced in executing sell-side and buyside mandates, including valuation, due diligence, financial modelling, and commercial review of transaction documents.

He is a member of CFA Institute, USA and has completed his MBA (Finance).

Satyaki Sarkar


Satyaki is a Manager in ARDENT’s IT Advisory Practice. He has more than 20 years’ experience in Information Technology with specialization in Managed Services, IT Service Delivery, and Project Management. Previously, Satyaki was part of the leadership team at one of the large IT firms in the UAE and led their Program Management (Implementation & Support) & Delivery Management.

He is specialized in leading large Projects with responsibilities of designing, planning & implementation of various solutions, related policy & process documentation, and creating delivery excellence along with IT vendor and systems selections processes. He has successfully managed, delivered 20+ ERP and other projects.

Satyaki is a certified Six Sigma, ITIL v3 and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of

Sarang Singh

Manager, Risk Advisory

Sarang is a Manager with ARDENT’s Risk Advisory Practice. He has more than 8 years of experience in providing Risk Management, Corporate Governance, Fraud Risk Advisory, Business Planning, Policies & Procedures, Process Review and Internal Audit services for clients in Energy & Utilities sector. He specializes in providing advisory services to clients across the entire Oil & Gas value chain.

Prior to joining ARDENT, Sarang has worked with one of the Big4 firms in India with their Risk Advisory Practice and with a leading consultancy firm providing advisory services across GCC and India. Sarang has worked with most of the Oil & Gas industry majors in India and a few of them in the GCC region.

Sarang has done Bachelors of Technology (Applied Petroleum Engineering) and Masters in Business Administration (Operations – Oil & Gas) from University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, India.
