Profile 

Chidubem is a Chartered Accountant with over 9 years of experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Corporate Governance, and Internal Controls.  He possesses a bachelor’s degree in accounting from University of Nigeria, and a master’s degree in strategic project management from Heriot-Watt University. He is currently pursuing the Certified Internal Auditor Certification (CIA) from the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). 

Prior to joining ARDENT, Chidubem had worked with two listed commercial banks and two renowned oil and gas companies where he developed his internal audit and risk management skills and expertise.

Service Line/ Product Expertise/ Industry 

• Chidubem has led and successfully executed numerous internal audit engagements across different industries and processes in finance, procurement, HR, IT, and other specialised operations. 
• At ARDENT, he has executed internal audit, and control assessment engagement for one of the biggest family businesses in the UAE whose business tentacle cuts across automobile, hospitality, real estate and oil and gas industries.  

• Aside internal audit, Chidubem as partaken in the development of SOPs and documentation of policies and procedures, business diagnostic reviews and turnaround planning, data migration and system implementation, as well as fraud reviews for reputable establishments in the UAE. 
• He is adept at communicating fluently (both spoken and written) to suit the intended users of the engagement deliverables.
