Arvind has more than 9 years of experience across transactions advisory, business valuation, strategy review, process excellence, and derivatives trading. He has advised clients across diverse sectors viz. retail, infrastructure, contracting, healthcare, on various transactions. 

Recently led the successful completion of equity sale of an Abu Dhabi based large group operating a chain of hypermarkets and malls in the MENA and Far-East regions. The deal, valued at more than USD 1 billion, marked a key investment by an Abu Dhabi sovereign fund into a large private company. 

At ARDENT, Arvind has successfully closed multiple high value and complex transactions. Some of his other notable transactions involved assisting clients in: 

• Equity sale of a logistics company to a UAE government entity 
• Acquisition of an MEP contracting company by a large Japanese listed company 

• Acquisition of a trading business by a UAE based diversified investment group 
• Acquisition of a pharmaceutical company by a UAE based private equity firm 

Arvind has led multiple financial valuation and diligence engagements. Some of his key projects comprise valuation of a large retail group in India, a developer based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a food distributor in the UAE, and a trading business in the UAE. 

Arvind has also advised a UAE based regulator of Workers Residential Cities (WRCs) on separate strategic initiatives. The engagement comprised: a.) a feasibility study on accommodation of the low-income group in the UAE, and b.) an analysis of existing regulation to identify opportunities which would improve the business performance of the WRC operators.
